Yep, there is still life in the universe! I try to check back every
now and then to see new postings.

No more permit trading. That means that all those that get a permit
that starts on Saturday and runs for 4 days won't have to worry
about what to do with the last two days when they have to go
back home and be at work on monday morning! That means
that if you don't have a permit you don't have to wait all day
Sunday with the hope someone is going home and will give you
the remainder of their permit! NO MORE BEGGING AT THE
CHECK STATION! And while I am venting, does it seem they are
shaving days (weeks) off the season dates.

Dont feel like others are ignoring your post. This site has not been maintained for at least a year. Actually they moved. Here is the new URL http://www.myfloridahunter.com/. I am in St Petersburg. I would be more than happy to give you some tips and answer any questions I can. Its probably easier to get me via email. Here is my work address chris.kurus@sage.com. Drop me a line and we can chat and see about hooking up and doing some hunting.

Good Luck.

Hi folks me and my wife are new to orlando and we both have never hunted before. I am a veteran of the gulf war and i have lots of gun experance. I took my wife to a gun range last week and to my suprise she shot a 3" groop with a 9mm. We want to try out hunting as a hobby for both of us. Im looking for someone who would be willing to take us hunting and show us the ins and outs of the sport. Whats in it for you? How about making life long friends with the kind of people who will "give you the shirt off their back" So what do you say?

Took a doe on Friday, passed on a spike Saturday, passed on a doe Sunday. I have also seen a few deer outside of bow range. I've been hunting Bull Creek.

Scouted Saturday and Sunday at Bull Creek. Some of the scrapes that were being tended a few weeks ago were under water, but the dry ones were being hit pretty hard.

Came face to face with a nice wide 8 pt. on Sunday and we had a 3 minute stare down. Also saw a few does and walked up on a large hog.
